One thing that Julie Wood has is a big heart. It is evident in both her work as a real estate agent and with her community service efforts. Julie believes that she can make a difference, and she has proven it. She not only believes it, but puts her words into action with every spare moment she has. She is here to make a difference and she plans to do it right here in Northwest Ohio.
Julie grew up in Holland and graduated from Springfield High School. She continued her education at the University of Toledo. She became a licensed real estate agent in 1999 and has been with The Danberry Company ever since. Her dedication to her craft and to Danberry is admirable and shows her loyalty in everything that she does.
It is important to Julie to be out in the community. Whether it is helping a client buy or sell their home or by volunteering within the community, Julie believes that it's essential to put your boots to the pavement and be where the people are. Julie is a REALTOR® who wants to meet you where you are. She will take the time to listen to your goals and help you move toward them with elegance and grace. It is important to Julie that you are heard and obtain the home meant for you and your family. Julie's immense drive and dedication to mastering her craft empowers her to be a dedicated, strong REALTOR®.
When Julie is not helping people with their real estate needs, you will find her out in the community helping others. Julie is passionate about many charitable organizations but holds a special place in her heart for Lifeline Toledo. Within this diverse community, people find acceptance and belonging. It is Julie's life mission to meet people where they are and to help them feel loved and valued just as they are. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at St. Paul's Community Center and on the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Properties, Inc. Julie has served as a past member of the advisory board of SAME Café Toledo (So All May Eat), the chairperson for Community Outreach at Epworth UMC and has served on The Light the Way Campaign for the Maumee Watershed District. Julie has been recognized as one of the three most outstanding REALTORS® within the Danberry Company and was also awarded the 2022 Northwest Ohio Regional Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award for her efforts to pay-it-forward to the local residents of the greater Toledo area.
Julie is blessed with three children and four grandchildren. Together they love to get out and mountain bike, hike and camp any chance they can get. One of their favorite parks in the area is Oak Openings, known for its amazing bike paths and trails. Julie also loves to support local venues such as Balance Pan-Asian Grill, Souk, and Black Kite Coffee. She also highly encourages everyone to check out the Toledo Museum of Art. It's free and has one of the best kept secrets in town, The Museum Cafe, where you can enjoy the Chef's handmade (gluten free) Gnocchi dishes or daily homemade soups. The meals always seem to hit the spot.
